Teams Age Groups & Rules

The Summer League 2023 will have a maximum of 8 players on each roster and a minimum of 5 players.

Each team is guaranteed 8 Games plus top 2 teams in each bracket advancing to Championship match. Our summer League begins May 30, 2023 thru July 26, 2023.

ADULT TEAMS MEN-FEMALE

Registration cost is $593 PER TEAM if you register by 4/30/2023 and $693 per team after deadline. All teams are allowed 8 player roster maximum.This includes all referee fees.

Duration of the match. - (Home Rules 2x20 minute halves for Youth Division U8 U9 U10 and 2x25 minute halves for older teams.
A FOUR minute half-time period will occur between halves.

Time outs. - Teams are entitled to a one-minute time-out in each period. A team that does not request a time-out in the first half of the match is only entitled to one time-out during the second half. There are no time-outs in extra time. You must request the Time-Out Card with Scorekeeper and Referee and will award you the stoppage when your team have possession of the ball.

Number of players. - A match is played by two teams, each consisting of not more than five players on the pitch, one of whom is the goalkeeper. A match may not start if either team consists of fewer than three players. The match is abandoned if one of the teams has fewer than three players on the pitch.

Uniforms. - All players must wear uniforms. Uniform consist of a Jersey, Penney or T-shirt with Number in the back, Shorts, Socks and Shin-guards. If both teams have similar colors the VISITING team must change to another color.

Slide Tackles. - NOT ALLOWED and will be cautioned as necessary by the Referee.

There are no off sides in Futsal

Ball Size shall be appropriate to the Age Group

Balls. - Only Official FUTSAL balls will be allowed.

Goalkeeper

• It is recommended that goalkeeper wear appropriate Gloves
• Goalkeeper Must wear a different color Jersey than field players in his/her team and the opposite team players.

Restarts (3 seconds for all restarts from throw-ins or kick-ins)

Kick-offs. – are indirect. Whistle must sound to restart after goal. Tapped balls are not in play, the ball must move forward.

Kick ins or Throw ins. – are indirect. All defenders must be 5 meters from the ball. Delay of restart can be penalized by losing possession and possible yellow card.

• A kick in that goes directly in the opposing goal is a goal clearance for the opposing team.

Corner Kicks. - Are direct. The ball must be placed directly on the corner sport and kick must be taken within 3 seconds.

Penalty Kick. - Goalkeeper must stay in the line until the ball is kicked.

 

Substitutions and send offs

A substitute may not enter the pitch until the player leaving the pitch is at the touchline in the substitution zone. Any substitute who enters the court of play before the player being replaced has completely left the court of play will be shown a yellow card. Substitutions may be made at any time, whether the ball is in play or not, but only in the specially marked substitution zones. The same rule applies for the Goalkeeper.

Players and substitutes sent off. –

• A player who has been sent off before the kick-off may be replaced only by one of the substitutes on his or her team.
• A substitute who has been sent off, either before the kick-off or after play has started, may not be replaced.
• A substitute may replace a sent-off player and enter the pitch after two minutes of playing time have elapsed since the sending-off, providing that he or she has the authorization of the referee, timekeeper or third referee (assistant referees).
